Let's face it, we all want to crack on with it and sing actual songs. The student will be encouraged to use the techniques from the previous exercises to show more variation in the songs they sing. As an experienced tutor Lottie knows what works best for each individual voice and will help a student work towards their goals or make suggestions for those just starting out.

Just like an athlete or a dancer it is vital that a singer has carried out a vocal warm up in order to sing safely. The student must be mentally and physically ready to sing before any performing takes place. Lottie will begin each session with a warm up focusing on the areas of the student's voice that are most in need or suitable preparation for the material the student will be working on in the rest of the session.

How much does a lesson cost?

Vocal exercises are really important for improving a student's technique. During a lesson the student will work on a series of exercises unique to the performer and would then transfer these practices into actual songs. 

Warm-Up

It doesn't matter whether you are 4 or 94, I am happy to teach students of any age. I have always loved working with children but I also have heaps of experience teaching adults, professional performers, and students with learning difficulties.

What can I expect during a lesson?
